System MaintenanceThe system requires no specific maintenance. Your remote controlis powered by a miniature 12V battery, type GP23A, that will lastapproximately one year under normal use. Using Your SystemArmingYou can turn on, or arm, the system by pressingon your trans-mitter for one second. When the system arms, you will hear a shortsiren sound, or chirp, and see the parking lights flash once(optional). DisarmingTo turn off, or disarm the system, pressagain. You will heartwo chirps, and the parking lights will flash twice (optional). Panic ModeIf you are threatened in or near your vehicle, you can attractattention by triggering the system with your transmitter! Justpressfor 1.5 seconds, and you will enter Panic Mode.
